Summary
Salary: £24,750 - £26,150 per annum, pro rata

Caring for a child with a life shortening condition can bring with it unexpected financial responsibilities which may lead to poverty and hardship. These include increased care costs, increased energy costs and the possibility of a parent needing to stop working to become a fulltime carer.
Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) have been awarded grant funding from Scottish Gas Network (SGN) to enhance our existing team which is funded by British Gas Energy Trust (BGET). This team supports families across Scotland during the ongoing cost of living crisis.
Recruitment to this exciting post will further enhance the support CHAS provides at an extremely difficult time families.
In support of this project, we are looking to recruit a highly organised team administrator, who will provide an efficient and professional approach to their work, ensuring that reporting to BGET and SGN is accurate and timely.
As the team administrator, you will be joining an enthusiastic, energetic, experienced, and supportive team, with a collaborative and hardworking culture.
You will be a confident communicator with great attention to detail and excellent organisational, creative problem solving and prioritisation skills. You will have a positive, can-do attitude. An ability to work analytically and efficiently coordinate data and provide regular reporting on key performance areas of the project.

The CHAS service:
Two children’s hospices, Robin House, Balloch and Rachel House, Kinross.
An Outreach Service providing support to children and families in their own homes, hospitals and communities across Scotland
Co-partnership working with Scotland’s three children’s hospitals
The Job:
Responsible for all aspects of administration for the financial wellbeing and energy advice team, ensuring an efficient and professional approach and that reporting to both BGET and SGN is accurate and timely. This will be done through;
Administrative and Clerical
Administration of funds
Information systems and reporting
Data quality
Research & Liaison with CHAS Family Support Team
