We have an exciting opportunity for a Communications and Engagement Officer to play a crucial role in enhancing and promoting United Response through effective marketing and communication strategies.
The Officer will be responsible for developing and delivering advocacy campaigns and engagement activities, creating compelling content, managing social media channels, and amplifying United Response’s online presence and visibility.
The post holder must be prepared to work collaboratively in a relatively small team fostering relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Passionate about accessibility you’ll use your marketing skills to co-produce campaigns and content with our lived experienced experts that help encourage people to join our services, work in our teams and advocate for the rights of the people we support.

What skills you will bring:
- Excellent written communication skills and ability to copywrite creatively, sensitively and with attention to detail.
- Good understanding of marketing principles and ability to apply these in practice.
- High standard of verbal communication and ability to relate to people from different walks of life.
- Excellent team working skills.
- Experience of working to deadlines and prioritising demands on your attention.
- Degree standard or professional qualification in marketing or related field.
