Job Title: Care Supervisor
Location: Hackney (Office-based)
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Contract Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
On-Call Requirement: 1 week in every 5 (rota-based)


Are you an organised, compassionate individual with a background in care supervision? We are looking for a Care Supervisor to join a high-quality homecare provider in Hackney. This is a customer-focused role where your ability to build relationships, assess care needs, and uphold service standards will make a real difference in people's lives.


About the Role
As a Care Supervisor, you will ensure customers receive excellent, person-centred care that is safe, respectful, and tailored to their individual needs. You will be key in care planning, quality assurance, and supporting care assistants in delivering services aligned with best practices and compliance standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out initial assessments and risk evaluations for new customers
  • Create personalised care plans that promote dignity, choice, and independence
  • Conduct care reviews and update support plans as needed
  • Work closely with the care coordination team to ensure effective service delivery
  • Supervise and support care staff, including assisting with training and development
  • Conduct quality checks and monitor performance of care assistants
  • Handle customer enquiries and concerns professionally
  • Participate in the emergency on-call rota (1 in 5 weeks)
  • Ensure accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality and safeguarding standards

About You
Essential:

  • Experience in care services and care planning
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and care regulations
  • Good IT and administrative skills
  • Relevant care qualification
  • Previous experience supervising social care staff
  • Experience with risk assessments and person-centred care planning
