We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Cardiff to assist with the appointment of a MASH Admin, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £12.40 - £16.00 per hour

Summary:

The Higher Clerical Assistant / Word Processor Operator plays a key role in supporting the Multi Agency Safeguarding Team and other Social Worker and Personal Adviser teams. The postholder will contribute to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children, young people, and their families
through effective administrative support and service delivery.

Responsibilities:

Provide accurate and efficient word processing, data input, and general clerical support.
Handle telephone enquiries in a professional and sensitive manner, ensuring accurate message-taking and follow-up.
Maintain and update case management systems, databases, and electronic records to agreed standards and timescales.
Support the coordination of meetings, including minute-taking, preparing agendas, and circulating documentation as required.
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring confidentiality and timely delivery.
Qualifications:

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent (desirable)
Experience Required:

Proven experience in clerical, administrative, or word processing roles
Experience of data entry and database maintenance
Experience of working in a fast-paced, multi-agency or social care environment (desirable)
Experience of dealing with sensitive and confidential information
Please note:

You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
You should have right to work in U.K
This role requires an Enhanced DBS
