Are you an Oxbridge English graduate with a passion for academic excellence? This English Graduate Mentor position offers an exceptional opportunity to work in an Outstanding Tower Hamlets secondary school, ranked in the top 10% nationally for both GCSE and A-Level outcomes.
From September 2025, you’ll support students across KS3 to KS5, with a focus on sixth form mentoring, helping them excel in English Literature and Language, while preparing them for entry to elite universities including Oxbridge and other Russell Group institutions. This English Graduate Mentor role is ideal for an aspiring teacher, writer, or academic looking to make a meaningful impact.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Supporting students with English across KS3–KS5 in class, small groups, and 1:1
• Preparing sixth form students for university English courses and admissions
• Providing feedback on essays and supporting exam revision
• Supporting the delivery of high-level English curriculum content
• Assisting with enrichment activities such as debate clubs, literary analysis, and creative writing
