We are seeking a reliable and caring PA to support our 4-year-old son with personal care, clinical tasks and meaningful play.

As a busy sociable household, we spend lots of time with family and friends. The role will be based in our home, but travel would be required to Crawley on occasions to support with visits to see relatives. The right candidate must be comfortable fitting in with our family and friends.

Our son would respond well to someone bubbly, chatty and active, making play experiences fun and engaging. Having a child centred approach is essential.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, responsible, and enjoys working with children in a supportive family environment.

Duties include:
- Medication prompting/administering
- Personal grooming
- Moving and handling
- Clinical tasks
- Other relevant duties as required
- Companionship
- Dressing / undressing
- Bathroom assistance
- Work with our son on meaningful play activities e.g. singing, music, playing alongside him with his toys.
- PEG feeding support

Candidate qualities:

- Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
- Hygienic, tidy and well organised
- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Honest and cheerful
- Creative
- Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
- Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
- Experience working with young children is desirable

Additional requirements
Non-smoker due to medical reasons, Vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission
