Summary

Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools (Exeter)

Exeter | £100–£130 per day (DOE) | Start: ASAP | Full-time

Whether you’re experienced or looking to step up into a Cover Supervisor role, this could be the opportunity for you.

At TeacherActive, we’re working with a number of fantastic secondary schools across the Exeter area that are in need of enthusiastic, flexible, and confident Cover Supervisors.

You’ll be leading classes across a range of subjects and year groups, using provided lesson plans to keep learning on track. If you enjoy variety and thrive in a classroom setting, this is a brilliant way to build experience and make a real difference.

What we’re looking for:

  • At least 6 months' experience in a classroom or similar educational role


  • Confidence managing classroom behaviour and building rapport quickly


  • Flexibility to cover Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 across different subjects


  • A calm, proactive approach to supporting students of all abilities


  • Bonus: experience supporting on a 1:1 basis or with small groups
