Summary

Job Description – Electrician (Immediate Start)

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our team on a busy hotel project, carrying out installation of lighting systems.

Position Details:

• Job Title: Electrician

  
  

• Pay Rate: £23.00 – £24.00 per hour (depending on experience)

  
  

• Location: Edingbrough

  
  

• Start Date: Immediate

  
  

• Hours: 07:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

  
  

• Duration: Contract running until September at least

  
  

• Card Requirement: Valid ECS Gold Card essential

  
  Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Installing a variety of lighting systems throughout a hotel refurbishment project

    
    

  • Running cable, conduit, and wiring to required areas

    
    

  • Terminating connections and installing fittings as per drawings and specifications

    
    

  • Testing and inspecting completed installations to ensure safety and compliance

    
    

  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and plans

    
    

  • Working closely with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades

    
    

  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times

    
    

  • Ensuring work areas are kept tidy and tools are used/stored correctly

    
    Requirements:

    ✔ ECS Gold Card – essential
    ✔ Proven experience in commercial electrical installations, particularly lighting systems
    ✔ Full PPE required
    ✔ Ability to work from technical drawings
    ✔ Good communication and teamwork skills
    ✔ Immediate availability
