Summary
An opportunity has arisen to co-lead the TB services at St Georges Hospital you will work in partnership with the nurse clinical lead to support in the daily running of the TB service with a focus on operational and people management. You will work as part of a multi-professional team to ensure that patients with TB receive a high standard of care from initial investigations to treatment completion. Whilst TB patients will be the focus of the role you will also work to develop patient pathways for our complex non-tuberculous mycobacterium patients. The role is integral to the prevention, detection of TB in Southwest London.
The main duties of the job are to manage the TB service supporting the TB Clinical Nurse Specialists and Outreach Worker to provide high quality care for patients at all stages of their TB journey, you will identify service development needs, support in education and awareness raising on TB in the trust and in the community and you will contribute to service development through audit and contribute to education and awareness raising activities
