Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse & Despatch Supervisor to oversee operations related to Goods In, Stores, and Despatch. The successful candidate will be hands on and ensure efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including Goods In, Stores, and Despatch.
• Manage order picking, packing, and despatch to meet customer and business requirements.
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment in compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
• Communicate with transport providers.
• Create, own and deploy a regular stock check (perpetual inventory) and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Record and report discrepancies.

The successful candidate will have experience in Investigating and resolving discrepancies or issues related to stock, deliveries, and shipments.

The person who fulfils this role will own, deploy, ensure adherence to the warehouse processes and associated documentation.

You will also ensure effective communication with members of the management team & customers as required.

With your team you will:
• Ensuring competency
• Facilitate, deliver and monitor training.
• Mentoring & coaching
• Ensure deployment and adherence to the business HR policies.

Within the warehouse you will:
• Be accountable for ensuring the quality and efficiency.
• Driving improvements and maintaining gains in efficiency.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean and tidy at all times.
• understand and deploy the business health & safety and Environmental protocols.
• Report any incidents or ‘near misses.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including Goods In, Inventory Management, and Despatch.
• Ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) and stock control software.
Forklift license (desirable but not essential).

SHIFTS
8 hour shifts 5 days per week
