Summary


This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated small team delivering resuscitation training to both Trust staff and as part of national resuscitation course provision, meeting faculty and candidates from a wide range of clinical groups.

The post holder will work with Resuscitation Department colleagues and visiting teaching faculty to ensure maintenance and provision of equipment for resuscitation training courses in keeping with national recommendations. The post holder will ensure all training sessions are set up and organised and support the trainers/ faculty through the provision of support for equipment prior to and during the running of these sessions.

Planning for resuscitation courses including national specialist courses with appropriate members of faculty.

Train to ensure familiarity with the working of resuscitation equipment including specialised equipment used on some courses (e.g. trauma, obstetrics).

Maintenance of equipment and the resuscitation training centre, highlighting issues to the management team and seeking support where necessary.

Welcome candidates and faculty to courses, ensuring registration of candidates on the courses
