Summary

What Youll Be Doing: Dispensing medication accurately and safely in line with agreed protocols Checking all dispensed items against prescriptions, and liaising with prescribers where necessary Monitoring and ordering stock from suppliers, ensuring cost-effective choices are made Receiving and storing deliveries using agreed stock control processes Managing prescription forms, including patient declarations and endorsements Ensuring all medication is delivered or collected within agreed timescales including Dossett boxes and home deliveries Maintaining high levels of professional development and participating in learning opportunities What Were Looking For: Previous experience in a dispensing role ideally in a GP dispensary setting A high level of integrity, attention to detail, and professionalism Flexibility to cover holidays and changing business needs A proactive mindset keen to contribute to service improvements and efficiencies Commitment to ongoing professional development A friendly team player who enjoys working in a patient-centred environment Working Hours & Pay: 3 days (27 hours) per week: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday 8am to 6pm, 1 hour for lunch unpaid (with flexibility to cover other days as needed) Hourly Rate: £12.21 during probation, rising to £12.48 upon successful completion Benefits: Eligibility to join the NHS Pension Scheme, ongoing training, and development opportunities in a supportive environment Come be part of a practice that genuinely cares for both its patients and its team.
