Summary
Provides professional clinical leadership, guidance, expert advice and support within the Breast Care Nursing team. Provides a specialist, continuing, supportive Breast Care Service within the hospital and community setting, offering optimum healthcare to patients, their families and carers. Delivers high quality, evidence based, patient centred care within clearly defined guidelines and protocols, this will improve the patients experience and meet local needs. Provides specialist breast care education, training and imparts sensitive information for patients, their carers and other healthcare professionals, ensuring that patient confidentiality is maintained.
