For the successful Multi-Skilled Shift Engineers, our client is offering:
Salary of £49,852.77 p/a
Hours of work: Continental 12.25-hour shifts, rotating days and nights (5:45–18:00 and 17:45–06:00)

The Role – Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer:
Deliver both proactive and reactive engineering maintenance to ensure equipment meets production efficiency and reliability targets
Minimise machine downtime through efficient fault finding and repair
Implement continuous improvement projects and engineering changes to optimise plant performance and reduce energy consumption
Support the integration of new machinery as part of the company’s innovation roadmap
Work collaboratively with the Projects Engineering and Technical teams to maintain audit readiness
Ensure a safe and compliant working environment at all times
Maintain clear communication and build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
Commit to continuous professional development through training and upskilling
What our client is looking for in a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer:
Previous experience in a similar multi-skilled engineering role – ESSENTIAL
Qualified either electrically or mechanically (or time-served), with the ability to work confidently across both disciplines – ESSENTIAL
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Proven initiative and drive to deliver successful outcomes
Willingness to learn new machinery and engage with equipment manufacturers to enhance technical skills
Engineering experience in a food manufacturing environment – DESIRABLE
