St Cuthbert's Primary School is a Roman Catholic school, serving a diverse community in the West of Edinburgh. The school is small and friendly, with single stream classes from P1-7. We also have a thriving 52 week nursery.
Acting PT2 Post Remit
This post will have a 0.42fte teaching commitment with 0.58fte non class contact time to support the Head Teacher with school improvement priorities. The post holder will be a key member of the leadership team and will be fully involved in all areas of the school. The remit will include a particular focus on attainment system and analysis and quality assurance.
It would be desirable for the post holder to have experience of GIRFEC Processes within CFE first and second level.
The School Leadership Team will consist of Head Teacher, a Principal Teacher (PT2) and a part-time Business Manager.

Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
