Job Opportunity: Teaching Assistant (Primary ALN Support) – Carmarthenshire

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated education teams across Carmarthenshire. Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time placements, we want to hear from you!

Role Overview:

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with classroom teachers to support pupils with ALN, helping them to thrive both academically and socially. You'll play a key role in creating a positive, inclusive learning environment tailored to individual needs.

  • Has previous experience working with primary-aged children


  • Is patient, caring, and able to build positive relationships with children and staff


  • Can adapt to a variety of classroom settings and needs


  • Is reliable and works well as part of a team
