In 2024 we were awarded £2m social investment funding to purchase a number of properties to expand our accommodation offer for people subjected to abuse and violence. this added 16 properties to our existing provision which includes women's refuges and dispersed units. We want to further increase the number of properties we own and manage to ensure that we meet the needs of victims and to help us develop financial resilience. This newly creased post will lead on this work.

About the role:
As part of the IDAS senior team, and leading on the development of our accommodation offer, you will:
Complete a full accommodation needs assessment in collaboration with colleagues and our survivor engagement network.
Support the development of a ten-year housing plan for IDAS.
Lead on the purchase and set-up of IDAS properties.
Develop relationships with private landlords and housing associations to grow our housing offer through the rental market.
Oversee the process for IDAS to become a Registered Social Landlord.
Support funding applications to retain existing accommodation and develop new projects.
Instigate and support business development opportunities, including bid writing and large grant applications.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders.
Ensure our accommodation is of a high standard and complies with health and safety legislation and best practice.
Ensure that repairs and replenishments are completed as required.
Manage key staff, including a Facilities Officer.
Support budget planning and monitoring.
