Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of government. The post holder, working in Downing Street, acts as the operational lead for a senior individual, working between the Prime Minister, Whitehall Departments, and external stakeholders – ensuring their priorities are translated into delivery and carrying out government business on a wide range of issues.
This will involve you advising senior leaders on a wide range of issues, handling complex and urgent issues, facilitating business within Downing Street and with Departments, organising and conducting meetings, events and visits. The successful candidate will have strong and concise communication skills and be able to prioritise. They must be able to use strong personal judgement to set direction for senior leaders.
This role is separate and unrelated to the Head of Operations for No 10.
