Remedy Education is seeking a dedicated SEMH Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist secondary provision in Lewisham. This setting supports students aged 11-16 who have been excluded from, or are struggling in, mainstream education. Many of the pupils present with challenging behaviour, trauma backgrounds, and additional learning or mental health needs.
As an SEMH LSA, you'll work closely with students on a 1:1 and small group basis, supporting both academic engagement and emotional well-being. Your ability to stay calm under pressure, build trust, and promote positive behaviour will be key to success in this role.
