Job description:
- Daily Rate: £14.18 - £15.84 p/hr

- Job Type: Full-time, Temporary
The Lancashire Teaching Agency are seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant for an exciting temporary position, starting in September 2025 and ongoing for the full academic year!
The role is required for 5 days per week from 08:30 - 15:30
Day-to-day of the role:
- Working 1:1 with a pupil in Year 2 with ASD and toileting needs
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of daily lessons
- Provide support to individual students or small groups to help them understand the material and complete their tasks
- Work under the guidance of the class teacher to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Help manage classroom resources and setup for activities
- Supervise students during non-classroom times including lunch and recess as needed
- Contribute to the monitoring and recording of student progress
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must hold a Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Experience in a similar role within a school setting is preferred
- Experience with personal care is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with children
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- A commitment to professional growth and development
