Summary

As Assistant Hd Business Change Manager, you will work collaboratively with a wide range of business stakeholders and people to get them ready for change, and lead the implementation and embedding of improvement activity across multiple projects in order to deliver benefits and value to our customers. Main responsibilities include:

· Identify and classify stakeholders and lead the creation and delivery of engagement plans to ensure; buy-in to the case for change, involvement at the right time, and the realisation of benefits and outcomes

· Ensuring all end user impacts are assessed and suitably accounted for in project plans and interventions. Working across projects to drive the identification of cross-cutting interdependencies and inputting to risk mitigation strategies

· Develop, execute and monitor communications strategies and plans, working with project teams to develop content for all key stakeholder groups

· Establish and drive maintenance and coherence of implementation plans

· Drive the adoption of change through analysing learning needs to build training/learning plans and manage through delivery to evaluation.

· Identify and validate business readiness criteria to develop operational readiness plans, leading on the tracking of these to inform and assure go/no-go decisions.

· Work in partnership with the Benefits Manager and stakeholders to assess and report benefits realisation to ensure change is embedded



The role will operate within MODs Project Delivery Framework, be part of Defence Digital’s “Business Change and Benefits Management Community of Practice”. Additionally this role is expected to provide visible leadership in the development of change and project management capability within the DIO, through championing the use of best practice; standards, tools and processes.
