You will prepare draft accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies in readiness to submit to HMRC/Companies House and assist with the preparation of Tax & VAT Returns.
Job role / duties
•Bank & Cash Control Accounts / Reconciliations
•Analysis of Income & Expenditure into appropriate headings
•Schedules of Debtors and Creditors
•Sales & Purchase Ledger, HP etc
•Calculation of VAT and VAT Control Accounts
•Journals
•Calculation of depreciation
•Process Tax Returns on Personal tax / CCH software
•Process Value Added Tax Returns
•Prepare draft Tax Computations
•Deal with client queries
•Deal with queries from H M Revenue & Customs
•Book In Clients Records and updating clients Job on Booking In list
•Visit Client Premises re Accounts preparation
•General Office duties
To be considered for this role you MUST
•Have at least 2 years Practice experience
•Be confident dealing with clients
•Be happy to work fully office based
•Have relevant accounting qualifications
•Be looking for a long-term opportunity
