Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00

Junior Electrical Design Engineer required for a specialist and growing engineering company who can offer fantastic training opportunities for an engineer looking to specialise within electrical design. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company with a global reputation who provide services to the aircraft industry. The successful candidate will be given full product training within this role and will be given the opportunity to develop control skills and technical knowledge on PLCs.

The role will suit candidates from either an electrical design background, or graduates with a degree in an engineering subject (or equivalent). You will need some experience using AutoCAD and any additional knowledge on PLCs would be advantageous however PLC programming training can be provided.

Once trained, the successful candidate will be responsible for using AutoCAD to produce electrical drawings and schematics, for both new designs and new processes. You will be involved in creating PLC programming codes using codesys and loading these programs into the vehicles manufactures. You will be involved in testing the equipment and rectifying any issues that may arise.

· Experience within electrical design or a junior engineer / graduate (or equivalent)

· Experience with AutoCAD
