Holy Cross Catholic Primary School is a thriving, oversubscribed, one-class intake school set within beautiful, substantial grounds. Our outdoor spaces include a large playing field, a forest area, and an additional outdoor learning space surrounded by meadowland, providing rich opportunities for play and learning.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our well-resourced support team as a Lunchtime Play Leader. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children, fostering positive play experiences, and contributing to a welcoming school environment.
What the school offers its staff
Contract: Permanent
Working pattern: Monday - Friday (11.45am - 1pm) 6.25 hours per week
Salary: Grade 2 (£23,656-£25,992 FTE), pro rata
Location: Holy Cross Catholic Primary School
Start Date: 1st September 2025
The St John Paul II Multi Academy is a highly successful Catholic Multi Academy encompassing eight Primary Schools and two Secondary Schools. Our schools are located in the northern part of Birmingham.
The ethos of St John Paul II Multi Academy is Catholic and was founded by the Catholic Church to provide education for children of Catholic families. As a Catholic multi academy, we aim to provide a Catholic education for all our pupils. As a Catholic multi academy, Catholic doctrine and practice permeate every aspect of every one of our school’s activities. It is essential that the Catholic character of the school’s education be fully supported by all staff within the multi academy.
