Salary: £10- £12.21 per hour depending on age

The Role Objective

The Front of House department is the one department that typically forms the first impressions our guests will get upon arrival at our property, it is of paramount importance that the reception desk runs smoothly and efficiently. As a front of house night porter, you are responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests and whilst also ensuring the highest levels of safety are maintained.

Some Responsibilities include:

  • Adhere to all H&S related matters within your area of work.
  • Ensure guests receive exceptional levels of service throughout the nighttime hours.
  • Conduct regular walk rounds within the property and ensure all required areas are signed off as safe – as required and stipulated on check forms.
  • Review the booking system and ensure that you are aware of in-house numbers and location of guests.
  • Ensure that positive and effective inter-departmental communications always take place especially within reception and housekeeping.
  • Communicating confidently and helpfully with guests, checking satisfaction, resolving conflicts, and escalating if necessary.
