Summary

Salary: £28,163 to £31,067 per annum pro rata
An experienced Teaching Assistant (Level 3) is required to join the experienced staff team at this outstanding specialist primary school for children with a wide range of special educational needs (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties and Autism).
Experience, understanding of, and a commitment to the education of children with additional needs is essential.
The senior leadership team are very supportive and you will be working alongside experienced Teachers and Teaching Assistants so that you feel supported within the classroom and can also ensure that all pupils are develop and meet their full potential.
Candidates must have evidence of a Teaching Assistant Level 3 qualification or equivalent and:
- Have a positive outlook, be highly motivated and flexible.
- Be suitably qualified.
- Be self-motivated, show initiative, able to work on your own work and contribute as part of a team.
- Have the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Have a high expectation of themselves, colleagues, children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Be able to support the learning of children and young people with SEND
- Be committed to the safeguarding of children and young people and be able to contribute to ensuring a safe environment
