At Job&Talent, we are hiring a Night Cleaner to work at A B Produce, who is a supplier of a bespoke range of potatoes and prepared vegetables for the wholesale, retail, processing, catering and food service supply chain,distributed nationwide.
Job Details
Shift Pattern:
- Sunday to Thursday 10pm to 6am
Pay Rate:
- Days: £13.50 per hour
- Overtime: £16.88 per hour (paid after 40 hours) and £20.25 (paid after 48 hours)
Location: Measham, DE12 7DT
Duration: Ongoing / Temp to perm
Requirements
- Ability to communicate in written and spoken English
- Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential, as training will be given
- Strong understanding of Hygiene Standard Operating Procedures
- The ability to stand for long periods of time and work well under timely pressure
- Must be COSHH trained
Responsibilities
- Clean processing equipment and production lines, including dismantling machinery for deep cleans
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, drains, waste disposal areas and the wider factory environment
- Collaborate with production teams to coordinate safe, efficient cleaning schedules
- Store, use and dilute cleaning chemicals according to COSHH procedures
- Complete hygiene paperwork
- Post cleaning checks by visual inspection or sample testing
- Identify and report any hygiene, safety or environmental concerns to the manager
- Respond to emergency cleanliness or safety issues by prompt action
