Summary

We have vacancy for a class based Teaching Assistant to support KS2 teaching and learning.We are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual who has experience of working with children.Job OverviewWorking with the KS2 team to deliver excellent teaching and learning.Contribute to delivering and monitoring of interventions for individuals and small groups.Supporting assessment and evidencing learningWorking with the teacher to create stimulating classroom displays and learning resources.Supervising children for part of lunchtime.Building positive relationships with the children being an approachable, caring and supportive role model.A commitment to a nurturing approach to developing the whole child.Maintaining a safe and positive environment for all learners, with a commitment to Safeguarding for all.Maintaining a professional approach with all stakeholders of the school.What you can expect from Oaktree:

The opportunity of working within a supportive, friendly environment in this large and diverse school, which is part of The Blue Kite Academy Trust.Good opportunities for personal and career development.Job DetailsThis position is on a Fixed Term Contract from 1st September, 2025 to 31st August, 2026.The role is based on a K Grade with pay dependent on previous experience.The role is term-time + TD days (39 weeks per year), with 44.85 paid.Work Hours are Monday to Friday, 8.40 to 3.10, with 30 minutes for lunch.Applications will be considered as received, should suitable candidates be identified, we may close the vacancy early.Oaktree Nursery and Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All postholders are subject to enhanced DBS checks. Appointment is subject to references, enhanced DBS and medical clearances and proof of the right to work in the UK.
