About your role:
Our Independence Training Facilities train students with learning difficulties and disabilities who are attending College study programmes to live independent lives. You will be bringing your residential experience to this role, working closely with the Colleges teaching and Additional Learning Support teams.
You will be a confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain excelling working relationships with colleagues, students and stakeholders both internally and externally.
As an Independent Living Support Worker you will work as part of a team to promote a positive experience and support students to work towards the “Preparing for Adulthood” outcomes;

You will have the opportunity to carry out sleep-ins (22:00 – 06:30) which are paid in addition to your salary at the Real Living Wage. You will be automatically be enrolled into the centres sleep-in rota (1 sleep-in every 3 weeks). You can choose to opt out at any time by speaking to the Independence Training Facility Manager.About us:
