Summary

SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Worthing

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs?
Randstad Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our partnered schools. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students who need tailored, consistent, and caring support throughout their learning journey.

The Role

As an SEN TA, you will:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a range of additional needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language)

  • Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised learning

  • Support pupils in building confidence, social skills, and emotional regulation

  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment

✅ Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN (in a school or care setting)

  • A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach

  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE, Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential
