Hays Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Wembley to recruit a Year 2 Class Teacher for the 2025/2026 academic year. The Role
As the Year 2 Class Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
- Support pupils in achieving key milestones in reading, writing, and maths
- Work closely with the parallel Year 2 teacher and wider KS1 team
- Maintain strong communication with parents and carers
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events and enrichment activities
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in Key Stage 1
- A strong understanding of the Year 2 curriculum and SATs preparation
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- A nurturing and inclusive approach to teaching
- A commitment to the full academic year
