You will join our team that specialises in providing comprehensive support to our armed forces, repairing and overhauling of Electronic and Electro-Mechanical equipment, in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with MOD standards. You will be part of a team that will handle a wide range of equipment, the role will cover at least 1 of the following:

Avionics systems
Maritime systems
Communications Systems
Navigation Systems
Weapons systems
Cable and Test Box manufacture  

What you'll be doing

Perform self-directed Test; Diagnostics; Repair; Maintenance; Modification; Calibration and Manufacture of Equipment down to module / individual Component level using approved Engineering Documentation and techniques.

Hold Self-Certification; Over-Signing; Certifying & Conditioning of Equipment Responsibilities ( for example: Serviceable / Unserviceable / Scrap).

Supervision; Training and Over-Signing of Junior / Equivalent grade Staff & Apprentices.

Carry out Feasibility and Development activity, including the Reverse Engineering and Creation of supporting engineering documentation / Test Procedures.

Use a combination of different MOD IT software.

Provide Specialist Advice as required.

Work within a scheme of Engineering Governance and comply with all policy and legislation.
