Summary
For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification. a) To provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care, contributing to the multidisciplinary team for clinical units as required, through ward pharmacy services and divisional support. b) Play an integral role in the multidisciplinary team that delivers a high quality clinical service to patients in critical care. This would include regular attendance of consultant- led ward rounds, supporting the team of junior pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to deliver an effective pharmacy service. c) To respond appropriately to requests from medical and nursing staff for information and advice about the selection and use of drug therapy. d) Take part in audit and project work to support medicines optimisation at the Trust. e) Participate in any pharmacy initiatives or working groups as appropriate. f) To support the Pharmacy team with the department strategy and delivery of the pharmacy vision within the department and throughout the Trust.
