Summary

The Domestic Abuse Partnership (DAP) is seeking to recruit a Domestic Abuse Assessment and Support Practitioner to join the Team.
The Domestic Abuse Assessment and Support Practitioner will need to have a keen interest in domestic abuse and supporting survivors in a trauma informed client centred way. Their role will be the first point of contact for survivors self-referring and for those referred by other agencies and will gather initial information to triage the level of support required.
You must have previous experience of direct work with women affected by domestic abuse or safeguarding adults or children. Have an understanding of the complexities of domestic Abuse and be able to work in an empowering way with survivors. You must have effective communication and organisation skills, enthusiasm and the ability to work as part of a team and with other agencies.
Ongoing learning and development is actively encouraged and will be provided.
