Meadow House Hospice is excited to announce the opportunity to join our well-respected allied health professional team. This service offers the opportunity for staff to be at the frontline of developing and leading on the way we deliver care to our patients, their families and how we offer support to our partners in caring.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional palliative care. They must be skilled in collaborative working with a variety of healthcare professionals, able to manage complex patient care needs with compassion and efficiency and committed to improving patient outcomes and supporting our service expansion and development.
The OT service is provided for clients with specialist palliative care needs who are known to the service through the specialist palliative care team and the role involves community and hospice inpatient duties.
To provide a high quality and efficient occupational therapy service to patients with a wide range of physical and medical conditions referred to the Specialist Palliative Care Service.
To work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team at Meadow House Hospice, assisting in the provision of support and rehabilitation to adults, in all End of Care Life settings including the Inpatient Unit, Day Services and the Community
To provide clinical expertise in the prioritisation, assessment, and treatment of patients within the scope of the conditions referred to the Specialist Palliative Care service. To ensure that service provision supports the objectives of End-of-Life Care provision across Hounslow Specialist Palliative Care Service
