Are you a kind, patient, and fun individual looking to make a real difference in someone's life? We're looking for an experienced Support Worker to join our small, friendly team supporting two wonderful female residents in a supported living setting in Bournemouth.

About the Role:

You'll be supporting two ladies who have learning difficulties, are non-verbal, and use wheelchairs. They require assistance with day-to-day activities including:

  • Personal care

  • Meal preparation

  • Mobility and manual handling

  • Daily routines

  • Engaging in the local community

They love getting out and about-whether it's trips to the park, shopping, going to cafés, or attending social events. We're looking for someone who can help them live a full and joyful life.

Experience Required:
  • Proven experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities

  • Comfortable with non-verbal communication strategies

  • Knowledge of wheelchair support and manual handling

  • Confident with personal care and supported living duties

Personal Qualities:
  • Patient, gentle, and compassionate

  • A good sense of humour and fun-loving spirit

  • Strong communication skills and a team player

  • Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends if required
