Are you a qualified HLTA or a newly qualified teacher looking to gain more experience in the classroom?

Randstad Education is working closely with a welcoming primary school in Gorton to recruit a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). This is a full-time, long-term role ideal for someone who's passionate about education and confident supporting both class teaching and small group learning.

Job Description:

As an HLTA, you will:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

  • Lead small group interventions and cover lessons when required

  • Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff

  • Help create a positive and safe learning environment

  • Support children with varying abilities, including those with additional needs

Must Haves:

  • HLTA qualification or QTS (ideal for NQTs looking to gain experience)

  • Experience working in a primary school setting

  • Strong communication and classroom management skills

  • A passion for working with children and helping them reach their potential

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
