Summary
HOURS: 20 hours per week
SALARY: Band E. £25k FTE
DURATION: Permanent
LOCATION: Hybrid. There will be some occasional weekend and evening work to support events.
REPORTING TO: Marketing and Communications Manager and Town Centre Projects Manager
PRINCIPLE AIM: To support the work of the Marketing and Communications team to create and deliver effective marketing strategies and to deliver commercially successful campaigns and events.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Content Creation:
Produce publicity materials
Write press releases
Develop blog content and create social media content including video and photography
Maintaining the list of email subscribers and generating email updates with material generated in the process of actions above
Provide content for the website(s)
Ensure that the community noticeboard and internal digital display is up-to-date and attractive
Social Media Management:
Monitor and manage all Future Wolverton social media accounts to include:
Planning and scheduling content
Responding to messages
Reporting on performance
Event planning and delivery:
Work with the Business Manager and the Marketing and Communications team to devise a programme of varied events and activities that engage members of Future Wolverton and the wider community and which contribute to the income of the business
Support the delivery of the varied programme of events
Report and evaluate events and collate member and community feedback in order to inform future planning
Provide support to Old School bookers:
Respond to enquiries and co-ordinate the booking process at The Old School
Liaise with colleagues regarding services required to support bookers eg equipment/furniture use, catering and cleaning requirements.
Develop and implement strategies to promote the Old School offer to potential new bookers.
Administrative tasks:
Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including reporting, data entry and analysis
Trainee Support:
In liaison with the Training Projects & Contracts Manager ensure that:
Trainees placed within the Marketing, Communications and Events Team receive the support and skills training that has been planned for them.
Record progress and achievements and share with the Training Projects & Contracts Manager.
Other: Other tasks suitable for a post at this level which are reasonably asked for by a Member of the Senior Management Team.
