Our Radiology team in our Leicester Hospital currently have an internal opportunity for a Bank Bookings Administrator. Continue your journey with us whilst we'll support you to be your best.
As a Bookings Administrator, you will provide a high quality, customer focused and professional administration service to patients, visitors and Consultants of the Radiology department and other areas across Nuffield Health, Leicester Hospital.
You will provide a reception service to patients, visitors and Consultants in the Radiology department and resolve all their queries in an efficient and timely manner. You will provide an efficient running of the X-ray clinics and associated administration including admitting patients to the department, taking appointment bookings and making amendments as well as taking payments from patients. In addition, you maybe be required to provide administrative assistance in other departments across the hospital.
The key element of this role is customer service and an attentive, professional and smiling approach is essential.
The Person
You will have good communication skills including a polite telephone manner. Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal with people at all levels in a calm and professional manner are required. You will be able to demonstrate a methodical and organised approach, completing tasks accurately and following them through accordingly. The ability to work to strict deadlines and working under pressure is important as well as the ability to work as a team player and use your own initiative.
Ideally educated to GCSE in English and Maths with NVQ Level 1 in Business and Administration or equivalent, you will have good IT and keyboard skills. Experience of working within an administrative or office environment within a customer focused role would be preferred as well as knowledge and understanding of clinical terminology.
