As they prepare for the new academic year, the school are looking for a dedicated Year 5 teacher to join the team on a long-term supply basis, taking on full teaching responsibilities from September through to July.
Your new role
- Plan and deliver dynamic and engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
- Foster a positive and ambitious classroom environment where all pupils are encouraged to aim high.
- Assess and track progress with precision, tailoring support to individual learning needs and celebrating growth.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues, sharing best practices and contributing to the school's wider development.
- Uphold school values through consistent behaviour management, enthusiastic involvement in school life, and thoughtful communication with families.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching at Key Stage 2, ideally in upper primary.
- A creative, reflective approach to teaching that combines structure with inspiration.
- Strong curriculum knowledge and the ability to differentiate effectively.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a warm and proactive approach to parental engagement.
- A genuine passion for guiding pupils through a pivotal stage in their learning journey.
