Summary
Experienced Class 2 Removal Driver
Removal Driver
Job Role Moving household and office furniture and other items to new premises or via storage. Working in small through to large teams.
Role and Responsibilities Household removals or relocations. Office removals or relocations. Taking goods into or out of storage. Large specialist projects such as moving hospital, library or school equipment. Moving specialist fine art and furniture. Day to Day Safely packaging items before removal or storage. Wrap & protect furniture into special wrappings and packing cases for shipping overseas. As a specialist packer, you might go to a location before the move to wrap and pack delicate items, like china, glass, artwork and antiques. Using packaging to protect fragile items such as computers or antiques. Taking apart larger items of furniture for packing and removal. Taking down curtains and lifting carpets if needed.
Weekend and overnights required sometimes.
