Mae Gwasanaeth Addysg Awyr Agored Gogledd Cymru yn chwilio am ddau Ymgynghorydd Ymweliadau Addysgol rhan amser i ymuno â’r gwasanaeth cynghori i gefnogi ysgolion a sefydliadau addysgol i gynllunio a darparu teithiau ac ymweliadau addysgol diogel ac effeithiol yn y DU a thramor.

Prif swyddogaethau’r swydd:

• Cefnogi cynghorau siroedd Dinbych, Y Fflint a Wrecsam i gyflawni eu pwerau a chyfrifoldebau cyfreithiol ynghylch ymweliadau oddi ar y safle ac addysgol i bobl ifanc.

• Cynnig hyfforddiant a chyngor arbenigol perthnasol i bob gwasanaeth cyngor sir a sefydliad addysgol perthnasol ar iechyd a diogelwch pobl ifanc ac oedolion diamddiffyn ar ymweliadau addysgol a materion eraill yn ymwneud â diogelwch ac ansawdd mewn addysg awyr agored ac ymweliadau addysgol.

• Monitro safonau rheoli iechyd a diogelwch mewn gweithgareddau oddi ar y safle ac ymweliadau addysgol a drefnwyd gan staff y Cyngor Sir, gan gynnwys arsylwi gweithgareddau ac ymweliadau.

Dylech fod yn meddu ar radd, yn addysgwr awyr agored cymwys a phrofiadol a hyfforddwr oedolion gydag amrywiaeth eang o gymwysterau arwain awyr agored gweithgareddau tir a dŵr. Rhaid bod â gwybodaeth gadarn a dealltwriaeth o ddeddfwriaeth iechyd a diogelwch ac arweiniad ar ymweliadau addysgol a dysgu awyr agored yng Nghymru.

Cyfnod penodol hyd at 31/03/2027 i gychwyn, parhad yn amodol ar adolygiad gwasanaeth a Chytundeb Lefel Gwasanaeth gyda siroedd Dinbych, Fflint a Wrecsam.

Work base: Nant BH Centre / home

North Wales Outdoor Education Service is looking for two part time Educational Visits Advisors to join the advisory service to support schools and educational establishments to plan and deliver safe and effective educational trips and visits both in the UK and overseas.

Key functions of this post are:

• To support the County Councils of Denbighshire, Flintshire and Wrexham to meet their legal responsibilities and powers with regard to off-site and educational visits for young people.

• To offer relevant training and expert advice to all relevant County Council services and educational establishments on the Health and Safety of young people and vulnerable adults on educational visits and other matters relating to safety and quality in outdoor education and educational visits.

• To monitor standards of Health and Safety management in off-site activity and educational visits organised by any County Council employees, including observing activities and visits.

You must be educated to degree level, be a competent and experienced outdoor educator and adult trainer with a broad range of land and water based outdoor activity leadership qualifications. You must have a sound knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety legislation and guidance in relation to educational visits and outdoor learning within Wales.

Fixed term to 31/03/2027, continuation subject to service review, and annual Service Level Agreement with Denbighshire, Flintshire and Wrexham.
