Are you looking for a driving role where you’re more than just behind the wheel? At Bensons for Beds, we’re searching for a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to join our Dagenham team. This isn’t just a drop-and-go job—you’ll be part of our customers’ journey to a better night’s sleep.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Hit the road as part of a 2-person delivery crew, bringing top-quality bedroom furniture to customers’ homes

  • Deliver with care—placing items in the correct room and assisting with assembly

  • Keep customers informed and happy with clear communication and excellent service

  • Handle all delivery paperwork using a PDA device and make sure everything runs smoothly

  • Carry out vehicle checks, keep your lorry clean, and drive safely and professionally

What We’re After

  • A valid UK Category C1 (7.5T) driving licence

  • CPC and digital tachograph card

  • Previous 7.5T commercial driving experience

  • Comfortable with lifting and handling large, heavy furniture

  • A team player with a can-do, customer-first mindset

  • Knowledge of driver hours/tachograph compliance

  • Experience using PDA scanners is a bonus

  • Must be 21+ due to insurance requirements
