Summary
The Bulk Fuel Installation is operated by a small team of four staff, responsible for the safe maintenance and distribution of aviation fuel. The Fuel Lubricants Associated Products Operator will issue fuel to authorised personnel, monitor aviation and ground fuel stock levels and assist in the day to day operation of the fuel, lubricants and associated products store.

Key responsibilities:
Receipt, issuing, storage and accounting action for all aviation and ground fuels for all units, utilising dedicated IT based management information systems.
Issue aviation fuel to authorised personnel.
Monitor the physical stock levels of aviation and ground fuels, Furnace Fuels Oils and Heating oil ensuring capacity levels are kept to the optimal levels and order as directed.
Carry out quality assurance checks and capacity levels prior to receiving deliveries of aviation fuel.
Record the refuel keys data on a dedicated management information system
Maintain a sound working knowledge of the station spillage plan, implementing immediate actions as required.
Carry out the disposal procedures for all Hazardous Waste including Waste Fuel on Station.
Ensure all fuel installations and fuel handling aligns with all departmental polices and all other relevant legislation.
Assist in the appropriate maintenance of stores and equipment, including locations and storage (Including stock rotation).
Restrict/control access of unauthorised personnel to storage areas (including access to keys), ensuring all visitors sign in and out as required.
Report property management faults and work services as soon as they become apparent.
Assist when required with escort duties for civilian contractors.
