Temporary Special educational needs Teaching Assistant – Flexible Work Across Northampton & Surrounding Areas
We are recruiting for a SEN teaching assistant for September start to on a part time, full time and flexible basis in and around the Northampton area.
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils’ learning under the guidance of teachers. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in different educational settings, working across primary, secondary, and special educational needs (SEN) schools.
Your responsibilities may include:
Supporting individual or small groups of students with learning activities
Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
Providing one-to-one support for pupils with additional needs
Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning
About You:
We are looking for candidates who are:
Enthusiastic, flexible, and reliable
Confident working with children and young people
Able to adapt quickly to new school environments
Strong communicators with a positive, can-do attitude
Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable, but not essential. Training and guidance will be provided.
Requirements:
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Right to work in the UK
