Summary
With a reputation for an unbeatable service, we are looking for an experienced driver to join our team on a casual basis. This would be to provide additional cover at peak times, so would perhaps suit a semi-retired individual. You must be physically fit as there is some heavy lifting involved.
Our business involves the collection of IT/WEEE and the destruction of confidential data so the successful candidate will undergo a CRB/DBS check, the cost of which is covered by the business.
As the face of our company you will be responsible for collecting from our customers so a friendly and approachable attitude is required along with excellent customer service skills. A smart and professional appearance is a must and a ‘can do’ attitude would fit our business which relies heavily on pleasing our customers.
What we need:
– Class 2, UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
– Valid Driver CPC
– Experience of working in a fast paced commercial driving environment.
We cover the whole of the UK, so there will be early starts and very occasional overnights.
We work Monday to Friday, so no weekends but our drivers usually start between the hours of 4am and 8am depending on the days run and work a minimum of 8 hours per day. There will be an increased overtime rate for any hours worked over 8 per day.
