Summary
Main duties of the job Diagnosing and treating patients presenting to primary care with acute medical conditions, minor illness and mental health problems, including a mix of face to face and telephone consultations. Ensuring clinical practice is safe and effective and working within boundaries of competence. Initiating and arranging appropriate investigations and referrals to other members of the primary and secondary health care teams as clinically indicated. Participating in the administrative and professional responsibilities of the practice team. Ensuring the clinical record is completed and maintained with accurate and contemporaneous details recorded.
