The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent core occupational therapy skills in assessment and intervention. A willingness to learn and develop further, both clinically and professionally, is essential. You must have an open mind to new ways of working and be flexible, dynamic, and forward thinking. Strong leadership qualities are essential in this post. You will demonstrate an ability to work autonomously and provide support to other members of the team including peers, Band 5 OTs (including preceptees), support workers, and students. You will demonstrate the ability to work flexibly to support the needs of the service. You will have the opportunity to work within a welcoming and diverse team. The Medicine and Surgery OT team work collaboratively together, demonstrating strong team work that maintains job satisfaction and morale. We hope that joining our team will provide ample opportunities to work across many specialities to support learning, advance clinical skills and create a passion for working in adult medicine. Full time, permanent position 37.5 hours per week, Core hours are worked 8am-4pm, Monday Friday. Additional duties will include participation in weekend working.
