Your Role at a Glance - Please see full job description in the link As Reception Manager, you will play a vital role in leading and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Reception team. You will be responsible for the effective management, supervision, and leadership of the team, ensuring that all duties are carried out efficiently and to a high standard. This includes managing staff performance, handling sickness absence, and ensuring appropriate rota coverage to maintain consistent service levels. You will be expected to drive the team to meet key performance indicators and practice targets, while promoting a culture of outstanding patient service and strong team collaboration. In addition, you will work closely with our Patient Services and Senior Management teams to support the broader patient services function across the organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a dynamic front-line team and contribute meaningfully to a growing, innovative healthcare provider. What Were Looking For To thrive in this role, youll need to bring proven experience in managing teams, ideally within a general practice or primary care setting. A passion for people, Leadership and development. You should be dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service, confident using a variety of IT systems and demonstrate excellent proficiency in word processing, Excel, and data entry. A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential. Youll have a solid understanding of general office procedures and must be able to respond professionally to requests for assistance, always maintaining confidentiality. The role requires someone who is resilient and calm under pressure, with the ability to organise and prioritise their workload effectively. We value individuals who are proactive, resourceful, and able to use their initiative to see tasks and projects through to completion.
