Summary
Job Description
Assisting a disabled boy with care within the family home, feeding, play and bedtime/ morning preparation and routine.
Roles and Responsibilities
Wheelchair.
Feeding evening meal.
Play therapy.
Personal, emotional and social care in the family home.
Help prepare for bed- personal care.
Assist with dressing/ undressing.
Specific Requirements
Able to fulfil the physical aspects of the role- child is strong and cannot assist with lifts.
Required Training
Moving and handling- hoist and lifting equipment.
Experience with children with complex needs.
About Me
Individual is a very lively, happy young boy, who can express himself but does require a lot of attention and detail to his care. He is quite strong.
Hobbies and Interests
Loves music, being read to-listening to stories.
Loves watching football – Manchester United.
Has his favourite TV programs.

Hourly Rate- £12.21
Hours Per Week- 7 hours once a month- usually school holidays. Potential for overnight stays.
How will the hours be used- Maybe a Wednesday or Thursday 3-7pm. 8am-11am (Family very flexible).
